The year is drawing to a close; December popped up today, cold and dreary here in Northeast Oklahoma. But sunny days lie ahead, and so does one of our favorite activities, our monthly travel group meeting!
The next Tulsa Area Rick Steves Travel Group Meeting will be Saturday, December 16 at Panera Bread at 41st and Hudson in Tulsa (that's 5601 E. 41st, between Yale and Sheridan), at 10:00 a.m.
We're expecting a good time this month (as usual!) Kim will be back from her Christmas themed tour in England, and Diane and Sharon should be back from their Christmas markets cruise. At least one new person is planning to come; that's always fun.
Stan and I will be able to give a ground-level report on the Sapulpa Christmas Chute, since we're signed up for a couple of shifts as volunteers. (Those of you who don't know what the Sapulpa Christmas Chute is, google it! Our small town made the national news with our downtown Christmas display last year, and this year should be even better.)
And as always, all travel related topics are open for discussion, and all comers are welcome. It's an open forum - come join in the fun.
