Well, the weather gods are still against us, with triple digit temps in the foreseeable future, but that won't keep us from getting together to share our travel experiences, dreams, hopes, and mishaps. In fact, travel mishaps might be a great topic for a meeting. The things that go wrong make the best stories, right?
The next Tulsa Area Rick Steves Travel Group Meeting will be Saturday, August 17, at Panera Bread at 41st and Hudson in Tulsa (that's 5601 E. 41st, between Yale and Sheridan), at 9:30 a.m.
We're hoping for a very special guest this month. Most of you on the Forum know Kim from Paris, but it's possible you don't know that she is purely Okie! She's going to be back here in a couple of weeks visiting family, and is going to try to make it to our meeting. What fun! We're also hoping the new folks who came last month will return, and I know of a couple others who are thinking of giving us a try.
As always, all travel related topics are open for discussion, and all comers are welcome. It's an open forum - come join in the fun. We want to hear your stories, answer your questions, see your photos and scrapbooks, and share your enthusiasm.
