Tulsa Area Travel Group Meeting August 17

August! It's hot, and the kids are heading back to school in a couple of weeks. No matter what the weather, or how grumpy the kids are, we're always ready for travel talk!

Our next travel group meeting will be Saturday, August 17, at Panera Bread at 41st and Hudson (that's 5601 E. 41st, between Yale and Sheridan), at 10:00 a.m. We're looking forward to seeing Kim again; she missed the last meeting, and we missed the previous one, so we haven't seen her since our Paris and the Heart of France tour ended in Paris in May! And she's bringing her scrapbooks from the two RS tours she took this spring. What a treat!

Not only will we be rehashing our recent trips to Europe, some of us (ahem) are already planning for 2020. Yes, Stan and I are already booked on the Best of South Italy tour for next year.

We're expecting some other regulars to be there, and newbies are always welcome! All topics are open for discussion, and all comers are welcome. It's an open forum - come join in the fun.

If you love to travel, or would like to travel, or are curious about travel, come join us. Anyone is welcome; you don't have to have been on a Rick Steves tour, or any tour at all. You'll recognize us by the RS books on the table, and the big smiles on our faces.

I'm bumping this up, since our meeting is this Saturday.

I've been in touch with a number of our regulars: Karen and Tami have to work (boo!), but Jesse is coming (yay!), and Kim is bringing the scrapbooks from her two RS tours this spring (double yay!). Stan and I will be there, and we're hoping Eileen makes it. And Patsy and Dale, who drop in occasionally, are just back from ... France! We're hoping they find time to swing by, as well.

So come on, join us!
