Yikes! I missed my self-imposed deadline for "first of the month meeting posting." I swear the time just goes faster and faster... So let's make the best of it, enjoying sharing time with people who love - or would love - to travel.
The next Tulsa Area Rick Steves Travel Group Meeting will be Saturday, August 15, at the Panera Bread at 41st and Hudson in Tulsa (that's 5601 E. 41st, between Yale and Sheridan), at 9:30 a.m.
We've had some great get-togethers lately (well, admit it, they're all good) and are looking forward to this month's gathering. Last month, four people whom we hadn't seen in months showed up; what fun it was to see them again and share our stories.
As usual, we're looking for a great exchange of stories, tips, and questions. We want to hear your stories, answer your questions (and ask our own!), see your photos and scrapbooks, and share your enthusiasm. As always, all travel related topics are open for discussion, and all comers are welcome. It's an open forum - come join in the fun. No judgment; newbies are always welcome.
If you love to travel, or would like to travel, or are curious about travel, come join us. Anyone is welcome; you don't have to have been on a Rick Steves tour, or any tour at all. You'll recognize us by the RS books on the table, and the big smiles on our faces.
