When you mentioned new compression socks, I immediately thought of the "Support Like Crazy Compression Knee-Highs" that were advertised in our Sunday paper. There were 3 solid colors and 8 prints -- bright florals and leopard and paisley. Wonder if they are any good. I might have to try a pair. :)

Hey Hille! Come on out! It's kind of smoky but supposed to clear out over the weekend.
Looking up those compression socks - let me know if you order them and like them. I was looking for ones with an open toe as I wear toe orthotics. The ones I got are Injinji brand which is the regular brand of socks I use with the Correct toes. They are toe socks.
And yes Darcy, have heard from Karen and she is coming. Apparently out crazy group did not scare her off last time!
They're not toe socks and I usually don't wear any socks -- only wear Birkenstocks and won't admit to wearing socks with them.....
But will let you know if I order and try them.

Monte, we may not want a show and tell! Rog, Cinda and I are going to try and do that International Selkirk Loop after Marshall gets married in CdA (well north Athol really) next month. Looking for hotel recommendations in Nelson and Creston if you want to give that a think before next Sat. If it's still smoky as h*ll we'll cancel this jaunt and wait until later in the Fall or next spring.
