It's almost time for another travel group meeting! If you are in the area and want to talk travel, share ideas, get ideas, and have fun with other people who share your love of travel, please join us Saturday, February 21 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Louis Bread Co., 10740 Sunset Hills Plaza, St. Louis, MO 63127, The Plaza & Shoppes at Sunset Hills. Look for a Rick Steves Guidebook on the table.
Woot.....I'll be there with bells.
And I'll be there with a visual aid. :) We talked about adapters last time so I'll bring my set with the thick- and thin-pronged European adapters.
Good Sarah! I'm confused on which one I will need for Italy. I was going to bring my usual two prong to ask if it was the right one.
Hope you have a good turn out! Plus wanted to get you back on the front page of the All Topics view.
Thanks, Pam!
Pam's da bomb.
Thanks so much, Pam! Enjoy your Idaho meeting!
Don't worry, I'll make sure Pam has a great time at the Idaho meeting! I've arranged for an extra table in the back room so she has more room to show us her dance moves!
Okay, Darcy, I think we need a joint meeting via Skype so we can all enjoy Pam's dance moves! :)
Actually, maybe we can get Doug to put on his Romanian dance boots and show us a dance or two! Now there's a guy with great dance moves and a great teacher as well.
If the weather is too snowy or icy tomorrow we might have to reschedule. We are waiting until tomorrow to see what happens with hope that the forecast is wrong!
Stupid winter.
I have all my outlets/power strips/adapters ready to go for show and tell if we do meet.
Well, shoot, I want to come see Kathy's plug show and tell! Keeping my fingers crossed that you will have good weather tomorrow. If not...come on out to N. Idaho where we, oddly for Feb, have warm temps and no snow.
Well, we are all brave, adventurous travelers so we are going to brave the weather and meet this morning! Thought I would post an update on the chance a new person was thinking of joining us today. :)
Pam, we got lucky with the freezing rain. Temps rose overnight and everything melted by morning, so we braved the roads and held the meeting! We had a great discussion of adapters/converters with lots of show-and-tell items. For her trip, Kathy has a cool power strip with plugs and USB ports. Actually, she has two, but will return one. There's nothing like looking at a bunch of electronic devices to get you in the mood to travel! :)
