SF Bay Area Travel Meeting May 9th

We have so much fun we're doing it again! Come and meet with fellow travelers to talk about --- travel! We'd love to have you join us.

Everyone who wants to discuss their upcoming trips, reminisce about past trips, or just hang out and talk about travel is welcome.

We'll be meeting Saturday, May 9th, 12:00 Noon, at:

Marin Brewing Company
1809 Larkspur Landing Circle, Larkspur
(Locals call this area "Larkspur Landing")

Marin Brewing Company is located in a shopping center called "Marin Country Mart" on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. It's directly across from the Larkspur ferry terminal.

When coming from the Richmond/San Rafael bridge take the 2nd freeway exit that says "Sir Francis Drake Blvd" and just stay on that road.

If coming from SF or from the north on 101, take the "Sir Francis Drake Blvd" exit and go east, the shopping center will be on your left.

Come in and look for us outside on their patio, or inside if the weather is bad... there will be a RS book on the table.

If you can't be there at 12:00 it's ok, we're usually there for 2-3 hrs, so come on by even if late!

Hope to see you next Saturday, May 9th!

I plan to be there, possibly with my two guys. That would be 2 legged Jim and 4 legged Riley.

Will be so good to see you Andrea!

Lauri, if you feel like making your amazing brownies I'll be happy to eat them... : )

OK - if I can be sure my household is allergic to Spring and not suffering from a head cold, then I'll be there, too

Odds are very high it's allergies, and of the 24-hour variety.

Crazy weather.

I'm planning to come as well.
For the Sac contingent -- there are usually more parking spots available closer to the Bed Bath and Beyond store at the opposite end of the shopping center. (Just be sure to leave one for me!)

Thanks for the parking tip Sharyn. It looks like I will be accompanied by Jim and Riley. Is anyone else from Sacramento going? We have room for one person in the car, as long as they don't mind sharing the back seat with the dog.

Susan and Monte were talking about coming with a van full of Sacramento area folks. (Did that fall through?) And maybe Eileen?

Woohoo! Eileen, Andrea, Jim, Riley AND Sharyn! Gonna be fun!

My friend Jenny will be there too...

Ok... Who else? Helps to know so we can get a table big enough... : )

Looks like I'm ridin' with Riley! We're gonna take lots of selfies and make faces at the people in the front seats. I'm even planning on making a couple of 'Help! We've been kid(dog)napped!' signs to hold up in the car windows...

Wait - I guess I just expected Ed would valet park our cars. Now I'm a little disappointed.

Can't wait to see everybody!

I know Jenny's phone number ;-).

Oh...and no worries - just crappy tree pollen, apparently :-( Nothing infectious.

Nothing a little beer can't cure...

Great! See all of you (including dogs) on Saturday. But before you ask Ed to valet park, take a closer look at our Volvo (although full disclosure, most of the scrapes and scratches were from being hit by other cars -- and I did the big ugly one all by myself. )

Eileen, so glad you're coming. You and Riley will have a blast... maybe dress him up with a hat and sunglasses for more fun...

Jenny's waiting for your call... : )

See you all tomorrow!

We had a good time at the meeting, even though it was colder than we are used to. Thanks for loaning the jacket Susan! It was great seeing everyone.

Super fun meeting. Thanks to everyone that was there, with a special thank you to Andrea, Eileen, Jim and Riley (what a sweetheart) for coming all the way from Sac.

And... Thank you Lauri for the delicious brownies!

We missed Christine and Jenny...but I can still call Jenny ;-)

It was good to meet you, Linda, even if we didn't get to talk much. I hope to see you in the future.

What fun! And such hospitality, too. I had a great time with everyone; thanks for allowing us to join you.

And Lauri - those brownies!!! Let me just give you my address...

(now we'll see if we're invited back...not holding my breath but hope springs eternal)

I'm planning on attending your June meeting. That's most likely on Saturday 13-June I think.
