Seattle North Travel Group Meeting, May 25

The Seattle North Travel Group will meet on Sunday, May 25 at 9 am at the Lake Forest Park Town Center, Third Place Commons area. Yes, we know this is Memorial Day weekend. We discussed at the last meeting and decided not to change the "fourth Sunday" date this month.

Topic: Show 'N Tell Your Favorite Travel Gadget (or any other travel tool)
It might be a good chance to include a "Travel Gear Exchange." Bring anything travel-related (in good condition, please) that you don't need/use but someone else might love to have.

Hope to see you there! For those who can't make this meeting, I will take notes and post them in this thread.

We had 10 very energetic members at yesterday's meeting. Thanks to all who attended! I think we all learned a lot from one another's travel tips, from clothing to luggage to travel pillows. I would be glad to share the notes with anyone who wasn't able to attend. Rather than post all the notes here, I've created a Google Doc that includes links to the products mentioned by the group. I will email the link to those who've already given me their email. If you haven't, and would like to see the notes, simply PM me with your email address.

NEXT MEETING: Sunday, June 22 at 9 am (Lake Forest Park Town Center, Third Place Commons). TOPIC: Iceland!

Hi JP,
It sounds like you had a really successful meeting. It says there are 14 posts but I'm not seeing them.
I hope to make it to the next meeting. My granddaughter just returned from Iceland and I'm sure would love to share some of her pictures and stories I can relay.
