Looks like we will have a nice day for an outside meeting. The location is Luther Burbank Park on Mercer Island. Park map:

Public transit—-bus 550 from either Seattle or Eastside to Mercer Island Park and Ride. The park is 1/4 mile from there. Driving—-take the Island Crest Way exit from I-90. Park in the North parking lot on the map if possible; or park in the South lot and walk through the park.
I will claim a table on the big lawn by the lake, between the Admin building and the off-leash dog area (near the flagpole marked on the map).
Travel books, maps, etc. can be placed on the table for others to view and take if they like. You are welcome to come and browse, or just talk travel, with or without books to “exchange”. I only ask that if something you bring is not claimed, you take it home with you.
I will have guidebooks, phrasebooks, driving and hiking maps, and more, for Portugal, Italy, and more. Also a brand new Sherpani Pica cross-body bag I bought on “final sale” and will not use.
You are welcome to bring your dog (leashed) for play in the nice off-leash area before or afterwards.
