I got excited when I saw your December 9 German Holiday Market field trip, but then I remembered I’ll be in Germany at a Christmas Market that day! Maybe next year? Have fun!

All things being equal (meaning good WiFi), I should be able to join you from Montenegro on Sept. 9. And from wherever I am in Oct. Yay!

CWsocial, you have a point, but I won’t call it a good one. πŸ˜†

Please include me for the next zoom meeting. Not Europe, but we river rafted the entire Colorado River in the Grand Canyon, which was kinda epic. I can show pics.

We, or maybe just me, hope to be there! Will miss the in person meeting!

Carol, glad you can make it online, and we'll be thinking of you on your trip when we meet in person!
diveloonie, I sent you the link in case it's the 15% and you can make it!

Everyone, I've updated the topics. We have a lot of people traveling and planning travels, so I'll be asking everyone what's on their travel agenda.

Please see the general discussion topic and come prepared to talk about your wish list trip!

A great meeting - such interesting presentations! Gwynn -Tony and I now need to return to Croatia and Montenegro. Barbara, though we just visited some Dordogne villages last year, I'm nostalgic for them and your itinerary made me want to visit more, especially St. Cirq Lapopie, in Lot! Catherine - we're looking forward to our May (planned but not booked) trip to the Baltics. Your descriptions make it more interesting. But we can't get ahead of ourselves; first things first :)

Thanks to all!

A really interesting meeting. Thanks to Gwynn and Catherine for sharing their photos and stories/impressions about their recent travels (so interesting!) and to Barbara for sharing her plans for her upcoming France trip.

I now have additional places on my list: the Baltics (maybe next summer?), and the Dordogne - and Carol, I am going to need a report from the Azores! Thanks to all - I love these meetings. :)

Hello,

It's been a long time since I visited a RS Travel Group...before Covid hit but I'd like to join the September 26 meeting at the Veranda,
I'll be heading to Sicily 10/22 on my 5th RS tour! :)

Cheers!
Lynn

Carol, I hope your trip is off to a great start!

Nigel, stay cool! It seems you've all cooled off.

Texas Travelmom, well, we may just cross paths. My 2024 plans are still fuzzy, but I do like this northern summer travel. And perhaps enough to go back and pick up a few more cities. Possibly making Gdansk my 1-per-trip city in Poland - since now it's becoming my thing.

Barbara, your photos got me thinking again about France. I've been sketching a trip, which included Paris and was considering it for 2024. Until I was reminded the Olympics are there next year.....I guess I'll wait a bit longer!

Thanks to all who joined!!

It was great to see you all on Saturday. The tickets for La Grotte de Font-de-Gaume just went on sale for our October date, so I'm relieved to know I have tickets for one of our top priorities for the Dordogne!

Just missed the meeting yesterdayβ€”just returned from London late Monday night. October 14 and 19 both look like a possibility for me. I’ll remember to keep checking.
