I’m sorry for the cause of the cancellation. Hopefully all the locals will be able to attend the in person meeting. We will not be at the April 20 meeting for good reason but hope to be at the next Zoom meeting which is the day after we return. Whew!

Not just any rain, mind you - torrential, side-ways blowing, non-stop days of inches and inches of flooding rain!

Nigel, you crack me up. And I am consumed by envy of the San Franciscans (is that the correct term, like the friars?) who get to meet up in person!

Well, I hope the weather on April 8 doesn’t turn out to be as extreme as predicted! I will miss everyone! Not sure about May yet, as I will also be traveling - but sometimes it works out!

Yet more severe weather for CA!! You've really had it bad in the last couple of months.

Yes indeed! It's the weather we've already had - and its aftermath - that is the problem now. The cleanup from flooding is distracting from fun topics like travel!

I’m in western Washington just east of Tacoma and the weather has been warmer and drier here than it’s been in Nor Cal, if you can imagine. I’m not sure when we are heading home, but we will have to be sure it’s a good weather day to avoid snow over the Siskiyous and near Mt. Shasta. The upside of the storms is the mountain is covered with snow and Lake Shasta has a lot of water in it. When we drove up last July the lake looked like a series of puddles and there was very little snow on the top of the mountain.

If we are back and available we will come to the in person meeting.

I just bought a house in Richmond, so I agree with the comments about the weather! Yikes! That said, I will plan to attend the 4/20 in- person gathering at Geppetto's. Google maps says it is 21 minutes from me. I look forward to meeting some of you.

I will be there on April 20. I'm looking forward to it.

Unfortunately we won’t be at the in person meeting. We will be home by then, but we will have out of town friends visiting that week. Hopefully we can make it another time.

The forecast on April 20 is a perfect 65 degrees. I know we have some travelers. Please confirm if you'll be at Geppetto's this Thursday in person.

So sorry to miss Geppetto's this Thursday, but my daughter is getting married on Sat. and we are soooo busy with wedding things.

We will miss you, but that's an exciting event to be busy with!!
