San Francisco Bay Area Travel Group - July 11

Come and meet with fellow travelers on Saturday, July 11th, to talk about travel! We always have fun and we'd love to have you join us!

Everyone who wants to discuss their upcoming trips, reminisce about past trips, or just hang out and talk about travel is welcome.

We'll be meeting Saturday, July 11th, 12:00 Noon, at:

Marin Brewing Company
1809 Larkspur Landing Circle, Larkspur
(Locals call this area "Larkspur Landing")

Marin Brewing Company is located in a shopping center called "Marin Country Mart" on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. It's directly across from the Larkspur ferry terminal.

When coming from the Richmond/San Rafael bridge take the 2nd freeway exit that says "Sir Francis Drake Blvd" and just stay on that road.

If coming from SF or from the north on 101, take the "Sir Francis Drake Blvd" exit and go east, the shopping center will be on your left.

Come in and look for us outside on their patio... there will be a RS book on the table.

If you can't be there at 12:00 it's ok, we're usually there for 2-3 hrs, so come on by even if late!

Hope to see you on Saturday, July 11th!

I've met many of these people; some are a little iffy...but harmless ;-)

Kidding!

This is a neat place to meet. OK, OK, the people are pretty neat, too. So if you're considering attending, DO!

Have a great meeting :-)

Eileen, thanks for your resounding endorsement ; -)
Who else is planning to be there besides Susan, Ed and me ?

I will be there. (And I think that next time Eileen comes we should keep her and not let her go back to Sacramento!)

If the forecast is for another week of 108F temps at my house, you can keep me all summer!

I wish I could go, but sadly I'm still unpacking and trying to get my new house in order. I think our things multiplied while in storage.

Who's coming to our meeting this month? :-) I've heard that Eileen will be modeling her new skort.

Great! Brownies for 5 -- and extras for anybody else who wants to join the conversation. (Yes, that includes you, Eileen.)
See you Saturday.

I'll be watching the Tour de France all day, if the previous week is any indication (sigh).

Someone please eat my 14 brownies; they'll only go stale otherwise...

Have a great meeting! Maybe see you in August...?

Fantastic meeting today in beautiful, sunny San Rafael, with Lauri, Ed, Susan, Sharyn, Jeff, Betty (me) and newcomers Bob and Sheri!

Lol Andrea... Great meeting today! So much fun, I hated to leave.

Weather was perfect and the wonderful regulars (Sharyn, Betty, Lauri & Ed) were there and 3 new people... Sherry, Bob and Jeff... really nice and so enjoyable to meet and talk to.

Some of the regulars are threatening to come to your Sac meeting next Sat... so beware.

And the brownies were delicious!! (Thank you Lauri!)...I ate Eileen's share.

Betty and I were posting at the same time... brilliant minds think alike... : )

I'm glad no brownies will end up dried-out. Good job ;-)

Note that many of us have to leave early (for us, anyway!); that may affect whether you want to make the effort to drive to Sacto next week. Not that we aren't worth the effort, but...

And welcome, linktofink...?

The "test" was one of our newcomers. We were giving him a tutorial on accessing and posting on the Helpline, er Forum.
I think that he is going to change his log-in name, so I will keep his identity a secret!
