I waited and waited for years for an OC group to start up so finally I juat posted like you did. I decided to expand it to LA/OC and we had our first meeting last Feb with 4 attendants. Our meeting last Saturday had the biggest turnout with 8 people and we chatted for almost 4 hours. I hope you can get it going Laurie Beth and if you ever want to brave the 5 and come join us, you’re all more than welcome to!

Claudette is right, if you want a group you can make it happen. Over 8 years ago there was only one group, in Denver. I wanted a group in Sacramento so I put out feelers on the forum to see if there was any interest. We had our first meeting in 7/10 and we have been going strong ever since then. We had about 8 people that first meeting and I don't think we've had less than that ever. Sometimes we have 20+. I think the key to successful group meetings is consistency. We always meet on the 3rd Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the same location. Some people have heard about us and come, even though they aren't on this forum. I always look forward to our meetings and have made some very good friends. Good luck!
