Sacramento Travel Meeting - Saturday Feb. 17 @ 10 a.m.

Another month, another meeting! Meetings are always on the 3rd Saturday of the month at 10:00 a.m. Please join us to talk about travel. Whether you have just returned from a trip, are going on a trip, just planning a trip? Maybe you just like to talk and dream about travel, we would love to see you and help if possible.

Location:
Panera Bread
3571 North Freeway Blvd, Sacramento
This is off I-80, using the Truxel Rd. exit

Everyone is welcome. I would appreciate if you could reply to this post or otherwise let me know that you will be there because it gives us an idea of how many people we need to have seating for. You can find us by looking for the Rick Steves books on the table.

Planning to attend, unless I win the lottery in which case I'll be in the South of France sipping Bandol and studying run-on sentences. :)

Matt, if you win the lottery the meeting location will change to the South of France so you don’t need to miss it. I’m sure you won’t mind treating us, since you will be Mr. 💰💰💰. 😊 Everyone, please make sure your passports are up to date. 😆

My passport is in my money belt, and I’m reviewing my French verbs.

Won’t make it this Saturday but should next month. Hope to have more clarity on our upcoming monster trip by then.

Alas, no winner/s. All clear to unpack and put passports back in the drawer.

I'll be, physically, in Natomas this Saturday. But like James Taylor sang, in my mind I'm going to Villefranche-sur-Mer.

Well Matt, we are all disappointed you didn’t win. I was looking forward to the south of France. Or anywhere really. 😆

I hope to see you all Saturday. We have a family situation that has been all consuming for the last 10 days and I don’t expect it to change by Saturday, but I think Jim may be up to covering for me so I can come.

I will definitely be there tomorrow, so I’ll see everyone then.

Andrea, I’m glad you’ll be there.

And Matt - great job on the lottery ticket. Maybe next time try a little bit harder. I probably won’t cry while unpacking my passport…

Hi, everyone--we're sorry we will miss you this time, as Rob will be in NY for his brother Marty's memorial service. I'm stuck here, as our dog has been sick for a few weeks (he's getting better).
Dave, wanted you to know we now have our Sicily tickets, and it wasn't TOO bad after all. Now if ITA would only stop changing the times of our puddle-jumper flights from Rome to Sicily and back, we'll be grateful.
We'll miss you all--have fun!

Debra, I’m sorry you couldn’t make it. My condolences to Rob and it is good to hear the dog is feeling better. I hope to see you in March.
