Sacramento Travel Meeting - Saturday 9/17 @ 10:00 a.m.

It's that time again to meet with fellow travelers to talk about --- travel!!

As always, we meet the 3rd Saturday of the month at 10:00 a.m.

Location - Panera Bread, 3571 North Freeway Blvd, Sacramento. This is off I-80, using the Truxel Rd. exit.

Everyone who wants to discuss their upcoming trips, reminisce about past trips, or just hang out and talk about travel is welcome.

Who's planning to be there? Everyone is welcome, but it's good to let us know. It gives us an idea of how many people we need to have seating for.

Lauri, I hope you and Ed have a fabulous time. I'll be in Paris in 58 days. Not that I'm counting! I hope you can make it to the October meeting. If you can't, maybe you can just mail my Pocket Paris and Paris par Arrondisment to me. I'll want them for my trip. Or if you will see SharYn before she leaves for her trip perhaps she can deliver them to me in Paris. We plan to see her on our arrival day.

Hoping to make Saturday, we're flying back from New Orleans the previous afternoon/evening so it'll be weather dependent, aircraft dependent and beignet-digestion dependent.

I am coming to the meeting this month (and returning Eileen's loaner bags.)
I likely won't arrive before 11am, however.
I hope I'll overlap with most of you.

I can't make it this month. I am hosting a Stanford Tailgate on Saturday. If anyone is down in Palo Alto, we will be in Lot 7. Look for the bar and sofa's.

What's the deal with you Stanford guys? Coming from a long line of Cal people, I was raised to think of Stanford as the enemy. I miss going to Big Game. Go Bears!!

Have a great meeting! Today was part of the Journees du Patrimoine so we were able to tour the Luxembourg Palace / French Senat with hundreds of tourists and French citizens. (Well organized, good crowd control, only stood in line about 20 minutes.) Now going out for dinner in a favorite little restaurant (Polidor) But this means Ed won't get to use his Panera bonus sandwich.
By the way, loved Muerren, clear weather almost all the days.
