Sacramento Travel Meeting - Saturday 10/17 @ 10 a.m.

It's that time again to meet with fellow travelers to talk about --- travel!!

As always, we meet the 3rd Saturday of the month at 10:00 a.m.

Location-
Panera Bread 3571 North Freeway Blvd. Sacramento. This is off I-80, using the Truxel Rd. exit.

Everyone who wants to discuss their upcoming trips, reminisce about past trips, or just hang out and talk about travel is welcome.

Who's planning to be there? Everyone is welcome, but it's a good idea to let us know. It gives us an idea of how many people we need to have seating for.

Hi, we'll be traveling (business, unfortunately) that day and unable to attend. Hope to make the November gathering.

Re: New Orleans ... recommend Pascal's Manale in the Garden District (Napoleon St). Known for their barbecued shrimp, they likewise do a soft-shell crab that is incredible. Warning, leave diet(s) at the door! The place has an oyster bar 'parlor' while you arrive/wait for your table, inviting you to enjoy a libation with some great characters. To that point, it's a locals' place so you get some great flavor both literally and figuratively.

Wow! I am just seeing this for the first time. Am I correctly reading that there is a travel meeting every third Saturday at 10 AM at the Panera Bread on N. Freeway in North Natomas?

Yes, we've been meeting there for over 5 years. We sit at the large table in the middle. Look for the travel books.

Can't make this one -- I'll be English Country dancing and dreaming of Jane Austin's England!
But y'all have a grand time and I hope to catch you in November or December.
(This is a fun group of travelers, Casshop ... you should try to come and meet them!)

Happy Birthday Susan! I'm looking forward to a joint celebration next month!!

I'm out of town, but made sure I would be home before Saturday. Missing 3 months in a row is unacceptable. Has anyone heard from Larry? Larry, if you are reading this I hope to see you.
