We think we’ll be there. Family coming from Oregon to pick up down comforters we purchased for them in Germany last month but they won’t arrive at our house until mid afternoon so if we’re ready for their visit, we’ll join you all in the morning.

Eileen, I know you have a RS store in your house.;-) Do you possibly have an Appenzell Day Pack and/or a Ravenna Day Pack I can take a look at? My backpack broke in Germany (the connector on the strap that attaches to the bag) and I don't think it can be repaired. I had a small carabiner with me that worked to connect it, but I'm concerned that it's not sturdy enough for a long trip. A larger carabiner won't fit.

Andrea, what do you think? LOL! I’ll bring ‘em. Let me know if there’s something else (& text me to be sure I get your message).

FWIW, I’ve also hopped onto the Away Luggage luggage carousel; I’m always happy to bring any of those bags, too ;-)

We are coming end of March. Any chance of changing meeting date to the last Sat. of March?

Looking at March calendar, that Saturday would be the 28th (instead of the 21st). Works for me, if good by others. Nice to have our Frankfurt contingent in the house. :)

Ms. Jo, we can definitely schedule the meeting for March on the last Saturday. I will make note of that each month to alert people. We do have folks show up that aren't on the forum and would have no way of knowing about the change, so I will go to Panera at our normal meeting time as well.

I plan on being there. Will be leaving for Paris next weekend, so excited! I've already packed once to see whether I could. Now I'm second guessing some clothes options!

Just pulled the trigger on big changes -- since we were originally scheduled to arrive in Paris on December 5 (when metro, buses, RER, SNCF, Air France ground crew, truckers and who else knows are all calling a strike, plus SNCF strike of undetermined length which would affect later travel in France) we are now flying into Frankfurt for the first 5 days of our Christmas markets trip.

Sadly, the da Vinci exhibition tickets are non-transferable or I would offer them up. And OUIGO tickets Paris to Strasbourg are non-refundable unless SNCF cancels the trains. (I will be keeping an eye of that!) But all affected hotels were fully cancellable.
