Sacramento Travel Group Meeting - Saturday, January 18 @ 10:00am

Happy New Year! It’s time for another meeting. They always take place on the third Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome.

Location:

Panera Bread
3571 North Freeway Blvd, Sacramento
This is off I-80, using the Truxel Rd. exit

Please reply to this post or otherwise let me know if you will be there so we know how much seating we need. Look for a Rick Steves book on the table if this is your first time.

Jim and I won’t be there this month. If someone can arrive early and set things up I would appreciate it.

I thought I’d responded; apparently that was last month LOL…I suppose I could get there early, but my RS books are so ancient anybody new to Rick Steves wouldn’t recognize them. Just look for the woman at the large table in the center of the restaurant, hugging her coffee cup.

Eileen:
Did you time travel back to last month as well? If you have that capacity, let's discuss last week's lottery numbers, and which horse won the third race at Belmont. We may have found a new way to fund our travel.

Eileen, thanks for coming early. It doesn’t matter how old your books are. :-)

If anybody has Italy, Rome, or Florence guidebooks or information that you can bring for me to look over I would appreciate it. We have a June trip planned and I need to work on my to do lists. Thanks, see everyone on Saturday.

Kevin, I don’t know how helpful they might be, but I have a 2010 Florence & Tuscany and a 2016 Italy. I won’t be at the meeting, but I can leave them on my front porch and perhaps David could pick them up and deliver them to you. I’m assuming he’s going to the meeting, but I will double check.

Rob, sorry; apparently I left my brain in 2024, but I don’t believe it’s of any use to anybody :^(

Thanks for any books or resources you bring. I figure the prices have changed but the important sites are still the same. Food and restaurants are always changing, so that is could change even between now and June. Thanks for the help and see you tomorrow.
