Sacramento Travel Group Meeting, Sat. September 21 @ 10:00

It’s time again for another travel meeting. They are alway on the third Saturday each month at 10:00 a.m. Have you just returned from a trip, are going on a trip, are you planning a trip? Maybe you just like to talk and dream about travel? We would love to see you.

Location:
Panera Bread
3571 North Freeway Blvd, Sacramento
This is off I-80, using the Truxel Rd. exit

Please reply to this post or otherwise let me know that you will be there because it gives us an idea of how many people we need to have seating for. You can spot us by looking for the Rick Steves books on

We won’t be there this month. We will be at opening day of Oktoberfest that day. Could someone please arrive early to set the table up?

Will get there early on Sep 21 to snag tables. Other early-birds are welcome (8:30-9:00) if so inclined.

Great travels and best Oktoberfest wishes to you and Jim, have a dunkel and a pretzel for us slackers back home. : )

Coming back from our 57 day “summer in Europe” today. May or may not be up for coming depending on jet lag recovery.

Thanks Matt! Jim will be sure to have a dunkel and I’ll force myself to have a pretzel. ;-)

Welcome home, Rob. I hope you had a great trip.

We might be able to come and bring our traveling companion for our September 22 Ireland trip, Dave’s sister. This is all dependent on how comfortable and ready we are with our packing, getting the house ready, pick up rental car to SFO etc…One of us tends to do things more last minute;)

Mona, can I take a guess who that is? We leave Tuesday morning and someone in my house hasn’t really thought about what clothes to bring. As you know, only two people live here. ;-)

Andrea, I can feel your pain. Just give them space…

I’m sorry to say this will be my last meeting, as I’m moving to Colorado next week. Looking forward to seeing those in attendance, and to those who aren’t : it’s been great spending time with everyone. Thanks and farewell!

Unfortunately, we will miss out this month. We have landscapers planting today. Our Europe trip this year happens to be in our yard, ha ha!
