Sacramento Travel Group Meeting - Sat. 9/20 @ 10:00 a.m.

It’s that time again for another meeting, and everyone is welcome to attend. We always meet on the 3rd Saturday of the month at the following location, starting at 10:00 a.m.

Location:
Panera Bread
3571 North Freeway Blvd, Sacramento
This is off I-80, using the Truxel Rd. exit

Please reply to this post or otherwise let us know if you will be there so we know how much seating we need. Look for a Rick Steves book on the table if this is your first time.

I won’t be there this month so I would greatly appreciate it if someone can come early to secure the table(s).

Sep 20 (check), will get there early to secure table/s.

If the other patrons ask why one person is sitting alone with so many chairs, I'll tell 'em they're for my imaginary friends.

I’ll get there before they try to haul Matt away for sitting with 20 imaginary friends…

Matt, I don’t think we’ll be putting together our usual string of tables this month.

We fly to Spain Tuesday morning and still have a list of things to do before we go. So, we may not be able to join you but look forward to seeing everyone in October.

Have a great meeting! I woke up in Paris this morning to begin our one month stay here and as much as I will miss seeing all of you I will get over it. LOL! When we arrived at our cozy (very small) apartment yesterday I saw the smallest washing machine ever. Yes, washers in Europe are much smaller than ours. Not a problem. This washer is 1/3-1/2 the size of the typical small washer. We may need to live like locals, as Rick says, and go to a laundromat from time to time.

We are probably not coming this AM. One of us is under the weather…

Andrea if your washing machine is narrow, the top lifts up and there is an 8 liter drum that spins vertically (not like a roulette wheel), it sounds like the one we use in our friend’s Paris apartment. Thank goodness there is a laundry just two doors down the street!
