Sacramento Group Travel Meeting - 2/18

It’s time to meet up again. The meetings are always on the 3rd Saturday of every month at 10:00 a.m.

Meeting place:

Panera Bread
3571 North Freeway Blvd, Sacramento
This is off I-80, using the Truxel Rd. exit.

Everyone is welcome. If you need help planning a trip, we have a lot of well traveled people who are happy to give help and advice. Have you been on a trip? I know people will want to hear about it. Do you just want to talk about where you want to go? We are your people.

If you plan to come it would be appreciated if you reply to this post or otherwise let me know that you will be there. It gives us an idea of how many people we need to have seating for.

If this is your first time, you can find us by looking for the Rick Steves books on the table.

On the calendar - in INK :) - no family birthdays, weddings nor holidays in mid-Feb.

We are hosting a family 3 February birthday weekend here. Maybe the 6 of us will drop by for breakfast or lunch on Saturday 😂. I don’t think this will happen but we’ll definitely be thinking of you all. Looking forward to seeing how the details of youngest granddaughters 7 week summer trip is coming together. We’ll be having several mini travel meetings of our own here, throughout the weekend.

Dave and Mona……Dave and Mona……Sounds vaguely familiar……Oh, yeah - they’re the ones who went to Hawaii last month without asking any of us if we’d like to tag along :-(

Eilene and David, would it help if we worn name tags when we return? 😂 It’s looking like we won’t see you before April(!) as we’ll be in Palm Springs during the March meeting. Maybe a trip to our local big box store, C, with a stop by the house to imbibe with the new GT glasses would be a nice refresher prior to April?

Speaking of people who have been absent, we will also miss the gathering Saturday. Many apologies. But, we will be there next month with bells on. Literally, we will wear cowbells around our necks. It's the latest fashion in Paris. Paris, Texas, that is. Looking forward to seeing you, finally.

I’m hoping we will be in town for the March meeting. It will depend on when we have to go up to Washington to await the arrival of our grandson. He’s not due until 3/27 so 🤞🏼. I doubt we will return before the April meeting, but maybe our daughter will be sick of us by then. 😉

Mona, I might be able to arrange my schedule…even if it doesn’t include a trip to C……In the meantime, we could all swing by your place tomorrow, say after lunch? I know you miss all of us. AND you probably have gifts from Hawaii for us.
