Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill - is there a travel group?

My husband and I live in Davidson NC (metro Charlotte area) and love travel. In the last few years we have explored Scotland, Italy and Ireland with RS tours. Will be joining the RS Best of Europe tour on April 19th to celebrate my retirement. Would enjoy chatting via email with other fellow travel bugs in our area. Teressa

Glad to hear from you both! I've never taken a RS tour but do use his books when planning my trips and like his travel philosophy. Maybe if we get a couple of more replies in the RDU area, we could meet at some point.

My wife and I live near downtown Raleigh and use RS books as our primary resource for planning European travel. We'd be interested in a get-together.

I live in Chapel Hill, and would love to meet some other travelers in the area. I have done some solo travel to Greece and Italy in the last few years (South America is coming up in June). I haven't actually taken a RS tour (yet), but I've been a fan of his TV shows and books for many years. Let me know if you decide to put together a meeting.

I live in Cary, and took early retirement so I could travel. I do a lot of independent travel, but I've taken five RS tours, and I always check his books and online resources if I'm going to Europe. I love to talk travel, so would be happy to get together.
