Portland travel group meeting April 20

10:00 am @ Panera Bread in Tualatin on Nyberg Rd

We'll expect to hear updates on eclipse viewing & travels there to. Where is Bruce going to end up...Texas or Illinois. Is Brenda going to make it out of the house of the mouse?
on a sadder note my every day coffee cup just shattered. Please a moment of silence. We will rebuild...better, stronger, faster

Portland Travel Group tomorrow morning? Mais Oui!

Excited to learn how all the sojourners faired on their search for the perfect eclipse across the land. I believe Candice and Jeff owe us a report on Greece. Tom and Pauline are ready to find their Polish roots in a few weeks.

I Myself will regale you all of a road trip just returned from. You know, I’d follow that trophy husband of mine around to the ends of the earth and I practically did. Well it felt like that after 250 miles and six hours of driving. What exotic place did we go, you ask? Well Harney county, Oregon where else? That’s right, we braved the endless miles of greige across the Great Sandy Desert to SE Oregon where the county itself is bigger than six of the US states but cows outnumber people 14 to one! So remote the Crane Union High School is the only public school in the lower 48 that still offers room and board during the school week. The vastness is something to behold and we were well rewarded in the evening steeped in our own private hot springs tub under a trillion stars. Well worth the drive.

You know he refers to me as his future ex-wife but if he keeps this up he’s going to have to live to a very old man before I turn him in on a new model.

Mark, my condolences on the coffee mug. At least it wasn’t your favorite brockabrella.
