Portland area Travel Group meeting

Our travel to Vancouver (Wa) was quite the hit! It was great to see everyone. We'll work on the venue change

`I calculate that our next meeting is Feb 21 at:
Panera Bread
7149 SW Nyberg Rd
Tualatin, or 97062
10:00 am Best Coast time

I don't think we will get a Cuba update as the two travelers will still be in country. If anyone gets a Venmo request for American dollars ASAP I would likely send our travelers some. Too many Cohibas & Mojitos. i'm jealous

One of these days I'll have to get down there.

Current health difficulties have stopped me from traveling but there does seem some possibilities opening up.

Let’s face it group, it’s been a tough month. We’re all wringing our hands for the safe return of Nancy G. As our collective mother, it’s heartbreaking.

Will flights still fly from Cuba to bring our dear Tom and Pauline home to us?
After being stuck on a high speed train in Spain during a National power outage last year and now this, I’m ready for them to turn in their travel badges.

It seems Portugal, Spain and France are all underwater and Sicily is sliding away. Lord don’t let me start on the falling value of the dollar! And I haven’t even touched on politics……

Now more than ever we need the warm embrace of our fellow travelers. Let us all come together and rejoice in our shared stories, wildest travel dreams and the pure distilled joy that is Brenda’s retirement countdown. How many is it Brenda? We’ve got to be under thirty now!

See everyone there tomorrow. Remember the rules, last one to the meeting buys for everyone else. Unless we have a new member. In that case RobertH, the honor is all yours. 😉
