Portland area travel group March 18th 10:00 am

Panera Bread Tualatin

Manager is fine with our new group size. Bring us your travel hopes & dreams. I see the Cour d'alene group brought in a packing demonstration test bag. Any interest in that? Sounds fun. Any volunteers?

We will be in between a trip to Rome(!) and a trip to Orcas Island. The Rome trip was last minute. Sarah Murdock posted on her Facebook about a slot that opened up last minute. We slept on it one night then jumped. We just arrived Rome. 21.5 hours door to door.....and that includes a crazy "taxi" ride. More stories to come

ciao & salute

Oh, I’m glad you were able to jump into that last-minute vacant spot on Sarah Murdoch’s Rome tour! Our last taxi ride to the Rome airport was a normal speed ride; it was almost a disappointment of missing out on a Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride experience - LOL!

Our Coeur d’Alene group would love to have you guys come visit us if you would like a road trip sometime! (We lived in Tualatin for 10 years back in the ‘80’s.)

Jean

thank you for the invitation. Funnily enough I was looking a couple weeks ago to see how much a flight would be to Cour d'Alene. And how to get there from Spokane. Your group sounds like a lot of fun. It'll be like a cultural exchange!
