Oregon Travel Group Meeting Sat, April 15th 10AM

Mark your calendar for the next Oregon Travel Group meeting: Panera Bread on Sprague Road in Woodburn (in the Outlet complex) at 10:00am.

The staff at Panera were very accommodating. The booth at Panera handled about it's maximum of 13 travelers.

I looked for other places to meet: library (they charge for rooms) community college (not big enough there in Woodburn). A bar/brewpub might be opened as early as 10am and may be quieter in the morning.

By the way, I found an Icebreaker outlet store there that had a nice sale. Picked up anther merino wool t-shirt. :-)

If anyone has a suggestion for a more suitable location/venue let's be open to a change of location.

Hi Becky,

Thanks for doing all the venue research! We are planning on being there for this meeting - really enjoyed the last one. The earlier time should make a big difference in the noise level. :0)

It's APRIL already! Time to mark your calendar again (or tap your smartphone) for Saturday April 15th at 10:00am. That's when we meet at the Panera in Woodburn OR (right there next to the Outlet Mall) to discuss past travels, share stories and plan for the future.

What's your favorite/best/glad-I-thought-of -that travel tip/toy/tool/thing? Bring it for show and tell!

See you on Saturday 4.15.17. (And you still have 2 days to file your tax return, without extension, so that is not a reason to stay away!)

Yes, Pam. It is true. AND we have a regular Icebreaker store in downtown Portland. We HAVE IT ALL! :-)

Hi Becky!

I am really sorry, but Joe and I cannot make it this time. Too much craziness happening on the home front right at the moment. We will miss you all and plan on attending next month. Thanks again for getting this going!!

I'll be there. Last month we had about 13 or so. Small meetings are good, too.
I'm a bit concerned about that fireball in the sky.
Oh.
Wait.
That's the sun and it's supposed to be there.

Nice meeting. Becky, thanks for arranging. I will try to be there next month if there appears to be some interest expressed. To the folks who are traveling.... Grrrrrrrrr, I can't wait for my next trip and I am JEALOUS!
