Well, shoot. By order of Tulsa Mayor G. T. Bynum, as well as the recommendations of our Governor and President, we are cancelling our April 18 Tulsa Area Travel Group meeting.
Rats. We had our quasi-agenda lined up: Kim and David saw the writing on the wall about their upcoming RS Best of South England tour, and cancelled all their reservations. Stan and I held on to slim hopes that our upcoming Best of South Italy tour would possibly happen, but I got the dreaded phone call from RSE on Wednesday. And no, it wasn't an April Fool joke.
We considered the idea of a virtual meeting this month, but nobody was too enthusiastic about it. If this craziness continues very long, however, we may reconsider.
Let's hope that we can get together again May 16 to share our travel stories, plans, and dreams. Until then, stay home, stay safe.
