We had the best turnout for our meeting yesterday at 8 people. Time flew by as we chatted away for almost 4 hours! We also celebrated Tim’s birthday with an assortment of chocolate cake slices. They didn’t have his favorite Black Forest cake so we had to improvise. A big shout out also to his beautiful wife, Maria, who we finally got to meet. She is truly lovely inside and out. We also welcomed new members, Laura, Linda and Chris and hope you join us again! The restaurant Anita chose, Alcove, was perfect! It was a gorgeous day and the food delicious as we sat outside shaded by big umbrellas and trees. Tim was a good sport as his backrest was a bush but not a complaint from our dude!
We talked about England (great Paul McCartney stories, Laura and Linda) so much that we thought our next meeting should be something British so we are going to the Rose and Crown Pub in Santa Clarita. Time TBD but will most likely be dinner...so please, come and visit with us!
