If you weren't at our meeting today we missed you! Good time today with 13 travelers gathering to share experiences and dreams of future ventures.

Watch for a future meeting notice as we've decided to meet on the third Saturday of the month. That makes the next meeting Saturday, April 15th. At 11:00am at Panera Bread in Woodburn...unless we want to rotate the location?

Thanks, Becky, for making the arrangements. I enjoyed meeting all my fellow Pacific NW travelers. I won't be there in April, as I'll be spending most of the month in Italy, but will plan to attend again in May to bore you all with tales of Easter in Sicily, and to solicit more info for my summer trip to Spain and Portugal.

Thank you so much for arranging this Becky! What a fun meeting! We had to tear ourselves away after an hour and a half but could have easily spent twice that amount of time. There's not much better than talking travel and sharing tips and experiences with other like-minded travelers! We enjoyed the meeting spot other than the noise factor; it was pretty tough to hear the others at the far end of the table - esp. as it got more crowded. Wonder if there's a quieter spot in the area or possibly we could change the time to earlier or later to avoid the loud lunch rush? Looking forward to next month! :0)

Thanks again, Becky. I agree with Jaye about the noise (the "music" and more) and time. Do you think 10AM would work for folks?

I think 10:00 is actually better and would work for me. Although I didn't make it to this meeting, I know that Paneras can get pretty noisy closer to lunch time. Hope to see you guys in April.

I think meeting at ten might be a good idea. The noise level should be better. I'd also love to come up with a way we could move around more easily in order to chat with more of the group. Maybe use open tables rather than the fixed one at the end of the room? We're looking forward to seeing everyone next month!

Our travel group has been meeting for almost 7 years. We meet the 3rd Saturday of each month at 10:00 at the same Panera. We've found that we get a number of people who aren't very active on the forum, but they always know where and when we meet. It's not unusual to have 20+ people. When it's loud it's because of us. ;-)

Enjoy your meetings. I've made some very good friends through ours.

Darn, sorry I missed it, but had to work - I'm supposed to be retired but signed up to help on that day weeks earlier.

Looking forward to the next meeting!

I plan to make the April meeting! I own no hardcopy books, so I'll wave around my Kindle.

Laurel, just make sure it is open to a RS book cover!
