Please add me! I have a trip to Scotland in November. I'm probably going to need wool and whiskey, right?

Definitely wool is needed, but in Scotland it’s a wee dram on whisky (not whiskey) that you might enjoy.

Whiskey is Irish, Whisky is Scottish (and English). There are at least three whisky distilleries in the Lake District for instance, probably more.

During our Zoom meeting I agreed to give info on books I’ve read before going to Scotland. There are a number of them but two recent reads that stand out: Winter Sea and The Shadowy Horses both by Susanna Kearsley

Classics like Kidnapped and Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson are good reads too

There have been previous discussions on the Forum, here is a link to one that was posted back in 2014 but still relevant

Sorry to disappoint but I will NOT drive in the UK, especially considering my many experiences I think self-preservation requires a certain amount of self-restraint in this matter

Linda Thanks so much for the info. I've just finished my last ebook and need to use up some audible credits soon as well.
