Duration of stay schengen

Hello,

This is my first time in europe, i am in budapest. I took the schengen visa from 18-4-2017 until 03-05-2017, and my duration of stay is 11 days. Can i overstay my duration but ill still be within the validity of the visa or not?
What are the repercussions if i do that? I appreciate any advice.

You would need to contact the Hungarian Immigration office for a complete answer. Most on this forum travel on a visa waiver, so never deal with this. Repercussions include a fine of several hundred euro and essentially a ban from entry to the Schengen zone for up to ten years.
