Denver travel group meeting, November 16, 2024

Next Saturday is the third Saturday of the month; time for our monthly meeting. When? 10am, November 16, 2024. Where: Panera Bread in Aspen Grove, next to the Mineral light rail station.

Come and have a cup of coffee, a bagel, or ?. Talk about your latest trip, hear about other's trips, ask questions. Newcomers are always welcome.

The third Saturday next month (December) is the 21st, four days before Christmas. Aspen Grove might be really packed. Do we want to schedule it for a week earlier (14th) or skip it entirely?

I'm planning to be there. I have a conflict on Dec. 14, but could meet on the 21st. Maybe an alternate location?

yes, we will be there. As regards the 21st of December the weather will be our determining factor. A week earlier , or someplace else, or skip it would all work for us.

Hi - I'll be there on Saturday. As for Dec. 21, I'll be out of town and have a conflicting appointment on the 14th. I could make Sunday, Dec. 15, if the group was up for moving the date.

Jen, I think Saturday for RS travel groups is in the Bible, or the Constitution, somewhere. It can't be changed.

I started this travel group thing (for the whole of RS land) along with Frank (who never comes anymore), years ago. It's always been the third Saturday, and that's written in stone. Once, I suggested changing something, and he was very much against it. We have to be consistent, so people will know when and where it will be. I was even hesitant about suggesting a week early to avoid the crowd.

If we change it to Sunday, we should find a Chick-Fil-A somewhere. Anyone know of one?
