Denver, the 20th at Panera

Well, Denverites, are you looking for a warm place to escape the frigid winter? How about Aspen Grove next Saturday for a group meetup? Come chat and network about upcoming travels to destinations (hopefully) warmer than here. Panera is in the shopping center at the corner of Santa Fe and Mineral. All are welcome, just show up at 10am and join us! I am going to try to be there but may not make it but I am sure someone will be there to facilitate your daydreams of travels!

Forecast high for Saturday is 45° hotter than today's (A veritable heatwave. Darn that global warming). See you there.

I’ll miss this one as I’m going snowshoeing on Saturday - hoping for deep snow.

Sorry I didn't make it on Saturday. I was all ready to leave home, but I couldn't find my glasses, which I legally need to drive. I kept searching all day long but didn't find them until late evening.

Glad all is well. That is hard thing about glasses. If you aren't wearing glasses, it is hard to see good enough to find them!

Actually, I see really well for close-up and mid-distance. I just need them to drive.

Usually, when I can't find them, it's because I took them off as soon as I came home, on the first horizontal surface that was handy, and I can't remember where. So I hunted in all of the usual places I tend to misplace them - the dining room table where I check the mail, the kitchen where I put away groceries, or my office where I get on my computer.

This time I think I they were in a shirt pocket when I went to bed, and I put the shirt over the back of a chair, and they fell out onto the floor behind the chair.

Nun: "We can't find Maria. We've looked in all the usual places."
Mother Superior: "Knowing Maria, I suggest you look in unusual places."
