We had a small [okay, very small] gathering in late January, amid Alexandria's snowdrifts... Now that the weather is starting to warm up, I suggest a meeting in the Reston area, on the morning or afternoon of March 12. Or we could aim for mid-April, if March 12 is coming up too fast. What works for the DC/NoVa/SuburbanMD posters?

The votes are in, and most people can make the morning of March 12; Mary, we'll miss you and hope you can join us next time.
I'll be at the Panera at 460 Elden St., Herndon, at 10 am on Saturday March 12, with an assortment of RS blue-and-yellow guides spread out on the table. By the way, the shopping center there behind the Panera has a lot of interesting bakeries and ethnic and organic shops, in case anyone needs a sari, or some cannoli, or wheat berries, or Russian DVDs or groceries...

Brad, I'm so sorry you missed us! There were two or three of us at 10 o'clock, so a pretty small group, but I did have two Rick Steves guidebooks on the table. We will hope to see you next time.

Jessica, we are tentatively looking at a meeting on July 23 or 24, date not yet set. I think Agnes is organizing, and it may well be at the Italian Store in Arlington. Watch this space for more details as the date gets closer; I hope you can join us!
