This weather makes it hard to believe that November has arrived, but since that's what my phone tells me, it must be true! Please join us at our next Washington DC Region Rick Steves Travel Meetup on Sunday, November 18, at 10:00am @ Teaism - Penn Quarter, 400 8th St, NW, Washington DC. We will meet downstairs, where most of the seating is. As usual, we'll have a blue and yellow Rick Steves guide on the table. It was great to have a new traveler join us last month - we're always glad when new folks want to share their thoughts on travels past and future. More people means more information shared and more fun!

Well, it's a winter wonderland outside my door now [a big change from the day I posted this topic], but the weather should be fine by Sunday. Looking forward to lots of travel talk on Sunday morning at Teaism!

Sorry to miss Kim and Rachel today! We had a good discussion with those who were able to attend.
Since December is busy for many people, we will not try to schedule a meeting next month. The next meetup will be January 13, at the usual time and place. I'll be out of town then, but Laura will post a message when the date gets a bit closer.
There are many holidays between now and then - best wishes to all for much happiness and many fun travels!
