DC area folks,
It's been almost 6 months since we last met. Anyone up for a late January or February gathering? Coffee or lunch/dinner. I would prefer a Saturday sometime after the MLK holiday. Weigh in if you'd like to join in, and we'll set a date & location. Thanks!

Thanks, Rachel! I am interested, and the best dates for me are the last weekend in January and the last weekend in February. Saturday or Sunday, morning or afternoon. Anyone else interested?

Swiss Bakery OR perhaps Teaism (N. St. Asaph St, Alexandria next to Trader Joes)...whichever the majority prefers. I can try to reach out to more people in the area to see if they can make it.

Let's try Teaism on St. Asaph Street in Old Town Alexandria.
Saturday, Jan. 30th.
I'm going to suggest 1:00 p.m. as Teaism serves breakfast/brunch on weekends until mid-afternoon or lunch menu & snacks are also available. If the time suggested causes major issues, it sounds like we're flexible so we can shift things a bit.
Parking: On-street (free) for 2 to 3 hours on surrounding blocks or you can get a 90-minute validation in the adjoining garage (enter by the Trader Joes on St. Asaph) Charges apply for more than 90 minutes.
Metro: Braddock Road 11-13 minute walk or DASH buses 8, 2, 5 stop nearby

As of now, we are still on for Saturday unless you all prefer to reschedule. On-street parking is next to nil based on how things look today, but there's a garage at Trader Joe's and on the Harris Teeter block (one block north).
