Aw shucks, I'm tempted to fly out there just for a taste of a red velvet cookie! They are my favorite! One of these days - road trip!

Well, Mardee, my alternate is the Chaos Cookie which is sweet and salty with crushed pretzels on top. Their sugar cookies with sprinkles are terrific too even though I feel like I am 8 years old and might should be wearing fairy wings and have a stuffed unicorn by my side.

Leslie, Cathy, Jean....yea!! I've heard from 2 others via PM as well.

Jean, last time I had to run off 2 people from the big table, hahaha!! Well, they were finishing and clearing up and I asked if I could sit down, lol. I DID invite them to stay to talk travel but they kind of hustled out looking over their shoulders at me like I was nuts.

Susan, in looking back, it was pretty funny. I, uh, expect I came across a leeeetle too enthusiastically! I restrained myself and did not run after them though....

LOL, Pam! I definitely can picture them racing away! Probably Summer tourists.

I’m going to need to be good at the bakery case - too many treats during this trip! Gone are the days when I used to come back home weighing less than when I left, even though I’m walking SO much!

Haha Jean...they were actually locals. They apparently usually come in on Sunday mornings but came Saturday that week instead. I'll bet they are back to Sundays, lol. Which made me wonder why when the place was not full they would sit down at the big table in the middle....

I think it will be too big a shock to your body to completely avoid the bakery case. Maybe just have one or 2 macaron and ease away from the treats instead of cold turkey, hahaha!!

Pam,
I think Curtis and I are going to try to make it to this one. Sounds so fun. Thank you

Jill! That is awesome! There is road construction in and around the bridge over the Spokane River as you come in to town on 95 if you haven't been up here in a while. You can still easily do a turn onto Northwest Blvd going toward the resort from 95 with no problem.
