Coeur d'Alene/Spokane Travel Meet up Sat Sept 6

We'll have our regular meet up Saturday Sept 6 at 10A at Woops Bakery in downtown Coeur d'Alene. Hopefully the traffic busy-ness will have abated and it won't take the Spokane folks hours to get to CdA. Nothing going on in CdA that Saturday that I'm aware of.

We welcome everyone! If you are new to the group, come! If you want to bring a friend, they would be welcome as well!

Let me know if you are coming! Some of the regulars will be traveling, some will have just returned home, some of us will be throwing stuff into the suitcase and rationing our "good undergarments" for packing, hahahaha!! Others, apparently will be providing a ChatGPT driven style show with wardrobe selections chosen by AI.

I'm planning on being there, but those were recommendations from Chat not things I already own so no style show. I might have a new green shirt, but that's about it and hopefully my new corn Ori Chelsea bag which was not a color recommendation. Her budget is much bigger than mine. See you then.

Have a great time, and thank you, Pam, for posting this & hosting it! Hopefully some of our brand new people are able to come again! I will be trying out my ChatGPT clothing that day in Asti. Oh no! Forgot to pack a medieval costume - LOL!

I got the Tom Bihn Rogue Sacoche yesterday and am using it for my regular every day purse right now. I did go prowl thru the hardware section in Fred Meyer to find a Nite-ize S-biner to clip the zippers together. I think I like it over on the side instead of the top as I can have that toward my body in a crowded place!

And just added that to give this thread a bump off Page 5 of the All Topics view, lol!!

I will be there. Looking forward to seeing everyone. I happen to love Tom Binh . Currently using some in Spokane. I don't remember all the names of his bags/add-ons but I am impressed with the quality and versatility. I took some \ to Paris/Ireland in June and of course to Greenland a few weeks ago. There are some little add-ons that my daughter and I have found really useful and I love that you can anchor them into the bags.

See you Saturday!

Judy! Well, if things are handy you are welcome to bring the add-ons for show and tell, hahahaha!!

It's still supposed to be hot but not as bad as today, tomorrow and Wednesday. Ugh! 100's are too much for me! Why do you think I moved to Idaho from Florida???

Ha ha, I can't come, but that's me right now! I washed for the last time today and have all my "saved" garments set off to the side for packing. I will be wearing old ragged underwear for the next 2 days.

And Pam, where's my photo of the Rogue Sacoche?????

"And Pam, where's my photo of the Rogue Sacoche?????"

Hahahah....I couldn't remember who I'd promised that to!

Another bump!

It looks like it is forecast to be 92 and we are pretty smoky right now. AQI is currently at 85 although it is forecast to be over 100 this afternoon, tomorrow and Saturday. I expect everyone in the area is about the same. Yuck.

Wow, I hope your weather changes & also the air quality! That’s a rough combo!

I’m in Torino eating specialty chocolates & gelato. : ). Certainly glad it wasn’t 100 here today since I participated in a 3-hour city bike tour.

Jean! Did you have that great chocolate coffee drink from the area (sorry blanking on the name)? Yum! And yes, this is a good time to be gone from our area!

So, Cathy....John is coming with you to be your "rogue"????

Betsy, I am using the Sacoche for my regular travel purse so you may see it!

Pam, yes, Torino’s famous coffee drink - the Bicerin, was the last stop of an outstanding food tour yesterday. A Michelin chef made the recommendations for the stops & foods we ate, and it was all excellent!

I picked up a small selection of Torino chocolates at a nearby shop, but it “disappeared” two times in my hotel room - LOL! Enjoy your Woops Bakery goodies during the meeting today & tell everyone “hi!”

We'll miss you Jean but we'd rather be with you in Italy than in downtown CdA, lol!!
