Coeur d'Alene/Spokane Travel Meet up Sat Feb 7

Hey all!

We are meeting in person for February at our usual spot at Woops Bakery in downtown CdA at 10A.

Let me know if you are able to make it! The long range forecast looks pretty good....46F with the possibility of rain showers in the afternoon. Of course that far out is not really reliable but based on what we've been having it may not be traditional yucky Feb. weather.

IF anyone is visiting the area or driving thru (but why would you be in February??? hahaha!!) we'd love to have you join us!

I'm possibly on the hunt for ANOTHER crossbody bag. Judy is bringing her TomBihn Side Effect and Side Kick which I am going to measure against the Baggallini cross body I've used previously. This time I'll just be in Paris so don't need to worry about hopping on/off trains, hahaha! I want something that will hold some sketching stuff (Not an artist but I'm trying!) and probably my iPad Mini. I'm sure Cathy has a complete inventory of TomBihn products too, hahaha but will still be in the sunshine for this meeting!

I will definitely try to remember to bring my cross bodies. 😊

Thanks for posting this, Pam!

I tried to stop into the Tom Bihn store at the Bellevue Mall in Washington today, but they’ve closed that store. I hope the company is okay. They recently moved most of their manufacturing to Vietnam.

Joe32f, I just missed it! …not that I needed anything more, but it’s fun to look. I bought my sketching supplies zip pocket from the store last year, and it’s been perfect for my small sketchbook, a few watercolor pencils, eraser & sharpener, brush, pen & pencils.

Good to know, Joe. I'm sorry you missed it Jean! I had pencilled it in for one of the days I'm in Edmonds this summer!

Judy, I am doing research in my storage bins, hahaha!! I have pulled out all the possibilities and am measuring and weighing them. One I completely forgot I had. I'll cue you Friday, hahaha!

I know you have an ORI crossbody, Pam. I loved that one, and sometimes I just clipped my Tom Bihn zipped clear holder to the ring of the ORI strap for access to the supplies since I was standing up for quick 5-minute sketches in Italy last year. I can’t remember how large your sketchbook is that you take.

That’s disappointing news! I was looking forward to visiting the store. Well, maybe a field trip to the factory store? :)

Cathy, I think the Tom Bihn factory store is only open on weekdays. Check days/hours. ; )

Thanks, Joe for the info on the TB store!

And yea, Brenda and Robert will be there. I think Judy is still on board as well! I've heard from a couple of others who will not be able to come so....see you there. Maybe rain, maybe fog, no snow or ice!

Did this morph into a Seahawks tailgate party?

Did the cupcakes come with blue and green frosting?

Hahaha...no! The bakery was getting ready for some kind of downtown event for maybe Valentines day (as their Christmas tree had gone from decorated with pink glittery Eiffel Towers to hearts!) and the desserts they had out for that were definitely NOT green and blue but looked gorgeous!

And there was NO mention of football, but plans were made for dinner when some of us are in Paris at the same time this spring, hahaha!
