July 10, Saturday at 10am. Meet at “Gelato by the Lake” , 217 E Sherman Ave, Coeur d'Alene. After picking up some authentic gelato, we will head over to nearby McEuen Park.
August 7, Saturday at 10am. Meet at Woops! French Bakery, 119 N 4th St, Coeur d'Alene.

Aaargh! Had to miss the May meeting...and will have to miss July as well! Our 8 yr old granddaughter is arriving that day....

The Osprey cruise I’m doing gets back at 11 at the 3rd St dock so I’ll see if you all are still around in McEuan Park! Since we three talked until after 1200 last time the chances are good, lol!!
Hello, all you Coeur d'Aleners! Every time you post, I grin - I (Vicki) went to the international Girl Scout Roundup there, in, ahem, 1965. Lots of fond memories, including the joke-on-us of some of the seasoned campers being foiled in tent-stake-pounding by the old World War II airstrip (concrete? something solid!) hidden beneath very thin topsoil - new challenge! But, oh, the beautiful scenery. Enjoy your part of the world.

I’m not sure whether it was all of the fun discussions this morning or the gelato that inspired me, but I came home and finished purchasing my flight to Italy for August/September!

Our meetings are informal, mostly getting together to enjoy sharing travel tips, nice experiences and any upcoming trips. We have both couples & singles who attend. We have a nice variety of experiences traveling in Europe, and everyone is friendly & welcoming.
Our next meet up is at a French bakery in downtown Coeur d’Alene.

I really enjoyed hearing all ten of us sharing upcoming trips and past pleasant experiences. The hours flew by! The cute French bakery felt like we could have been traveling together in France. ; )
