Coeur d'Alene/Spokane Travel Group - meet at Beverly’s for a French pastry class?

I just signed up yesterday for this class at Beverly’s! Knowing our groups’ collective sweet tooth, anyone want to join me? It sounds very similar to a pastry class I planned to take in Paris that had an emergency and cancelled last minute.

Wow, I'm impressed, Jean, if you plan to make a Croquembouche Tower! I bake a lot and have never made the attempt. I want to see pictures when you're done!!!

Jean

You need to post a warning that clicking on your link will cause a 5 lb weight gain, and likely will cause one to short circuit their keyboard because of the drooling.

Enjoy yourself! I know you will have a fun time! The tough part is that dang spun sugar....

Wow, that was a lot of fun! The chef set up hot plates of water-bath dark & white melted chocolate instead of caramel, and we accented the tower with a few strawberries and imported Christmas-shaped chocolates for a greater 3-dimensional look. Very festive & tasty!

I'm glad it worked out well. Did you eat it? Not quite cold enough here during the day to store it outside so I hope you had room in your fridge, haha!!

We tasted it that evening after I took a few photos. And it makes a great breakfast treat with coffee for a few days!

Nigel, last month after our Thanksgiving holiday, pumpkin pie also makes a great breakfast item! ; )

Pumpkin is a vegetable so you can feel a little self-righteous starting your day with a veggie plate, 😉😆.

I love that you were having the croquembouche for breakfast too!

You guys east of the Cascades are great! I am so jealous. Too bad my daughter no longer works at WSU.
