Coeur d'Alene/Spokane Travel Group Feb 4 10A

If you are in the North Idaho/Eastern Washington area on Saturday Feb 4, come join us for interesting travel talk and a convivial group!

I'll be there and some of the regulars indicated at the last meeting they'd be along too....weather permitting as always in the winter.

We'll meet at our usual spot at 10am - Woops! French Bakery, 119 N 4th St, in downtown Coeur d'Alene.

And now we know the lady at Woops Bakery is from Chester, England! We should ask her to join us on the times she’s not working. ; )

Oh yes, we'd love to have guests but for heaven's sake come at a better time of year!

And yes, the owner who is from Chester is such a delight. I'd love it if she had time to sit with us and chat.

Terrific! Hope the bitter cold is gone! At least the sun is out today and will clean up the streets a bit before the big freeze tonight!

See you all next week?

My husband & I were talking about airline miles last night, and I have a lot of them. He jokingly said, “Maybe you need to go to Italy in October!” We both looked at each other kind of laughing and then….pause…, as I thought “Why not?” ; )

Maybe I will have an extra topic next month!

Haha...you are already our Italy expert, Jean! But... go ahead and return if you must....hahaha...

I received a birthday gift today of a coffee mug reading "I'd rather be in Italy." My friend knows me well!

Giving this a bumpety-bump back to the top of the All Topics page for a reminder!

Weather-wise, so far it looks adequate for tomorrow. Light rain but looks warm enough that there won't be any snow or ice.

Not sure if I'm going to make it. Yesterday I looked out and there was a truck up on blocks blocking my driveway. The guy promised it would be gone in an hour because I told him I had a meeting Saturday morning. Well it's 7 am Saturday, and it's still there and I can't get around it. Hopefully it will be gone in the next couple of hours, otherwise I'm stuck.

I couldn’t be there in person today, but I bought a couple of items for the RS Slovenia/Croatia trip - a cotton dress and a bikini! Don’t worry, I will NOT be modeling the bikini at our next meeting - LOL! When in Rome…. ; )

Thanks Amy for rescuing me. It was a fun meeting and I'm glad that I didn't miss it. And I agree, Jean should model that bikini at the next meeting. I'll be in Tucson, so someone needs to send me pictures.

Oh yes, if modeling takes place it will be video'd, hahaha!

Big question...is the truck still on blocks in front of your driveway?

No, the trucks were both gone and probably lucky for the owner, I wasn't there when he came and got them. Hopefully he will find another street to do his car repairs on.

Good grief! I'm glad they are gone!
