I've been wondering the same thing. We're not there yet, but plan to move later this year and will be in touch.

You all are welcome to travel up to the Palouse on the 3rd Saturday of the month!

A couple of years ago several of us noticed there were folks in the Moscow/Lewiston area posting on the forum so we got together for our first meet-up. We have a wonderful time. One person usually sends out the email reminders and starts a thread here and she, bless her, also reserves the room at the local coffee place. We have from 6 to 12 or so regulars.

We usually keep our eyes peeled for posters from the general area and drop them a private message with an invitation. We've got several people who drive down from Spokane/CdA if the weather is nice.

Good luck! It's lots of fun to talk travel!

Oh, without a doubt, we ARE and adventure! We would love to have you come! We will attempt to make Monte behave, but that cannot be guaranteed.

Next meeting is April 18, 1030 at One World Cafe on the corner of 6th and Main in downtown Moscow. It will be the last one with easy parking as the next month the Saturday Farmer's Market will have started.

One of us usually puts up a notice the week before on this group meet up forum. We usually take turns bouncing it to the top.

That's because Sharon is usually with you, Monte!

So is your get together in Moscow on April 18th just a meeting for coffee or is there camping and other activities involved?

Just coffee and chat. I am not sure any of us are campers! My idea of camping was the RS tour hotel I stayed at in Switzerland with a shared bath down the hall, lol.

If you decide to come up and want to camp, I can check on campsites for you. I think there is camping at Robinson Park in Moscow.
