Anyone interested in a Tulsa Area Travel Group?

I posted recently about starting a travel group, and got lots of ideas and encouragement from folks in groups in other areas. So, how about it, Tulsa? Let's see how many people are actually interested (I've heard from one in Broken Arrow already.) Then we can talk about when and where. It seems Panera Bread is the traditional home of RS Travel Groups, but someone also suggested meeting where people could have a beer or a glass of wine. And Saturday afternoons also seem to be the best time, although all this is up for discussion.

I know it's a long way from tossing the idea out, to actually meeting, and we're about to run smack into the busy holiday season, but let's at least test the waters. Who's interested?

Jane,
I live in the Tulsa area and although I am not a RS tour alum, I love to travel (my wife and I are going to Toledo and Madrid this year for Christmas, making this our 3rd trip to Europe). I am interested unless it's for Tour folks only.

Everyone's welcome. I suspect that many, if not most, of the people who haunt this forum have traveled on their own. We all enjoy sharing our stories, trading tips, and dreaming about future trips. I love the idea of Spain for Christmas. We were in Spain three years ago, and loved it. It's definitely on our "return to" list.

Thanks for the response, Bill. We'll keep in touch as we add more interested folks.

We have been meeting in Sacramento for over 5 years and many of us, myself included, have never been on a Rick Steves tour. That will change next year when some of us go on the Village Italy tour together. For our meetings all you need is a love of travel!
