I will be traveling on Sept 22 from Zurich HB to Como Giovani . Questions - I would like the 09:09 train arriving in Como @ 12:23 . Can I purchase the Super Saver Fare for 25CHF to Milan and depart the train in Como - It is much cheaper that way. Do i need to purchase this now, or will I be able to buy this in person at the train station. There is a significant price difference. Last question would that trip have only 1 change of trains in Chiasso. Any help to these questions would be greatly appreciated!!

There is no need to make a connection. There is a direct EC train that leaves Zurich at 07:09 and arrives at Como S Giovanni at 10:14. There is another that departs at 08:31 and arrives at 12:15 and yet another that departs at 11:09 and arrives at 14:14. The 25 CHF fare is still available for all three trains. Book NOW on the Swiss Rail site. If you wait until you get to Zurich, those discount fare tickets are almost certain to be gone.

Do I book zurich to milan and get off at the Como stop, the 25 CHF states zurich to milan, or would it apply to Como as well. The 8:30 train from Zurich is perfect Thank you for your response!

You're welcome! You will get the same 25 CHF fare by booking Zurich-Como S Giovanni.
