Thinking about flying back on the day the tour ends, Saturday June 19th. I see a flight at 1.05pm to Chicago with Swiss Air.
Anyone have any comments on taking the direct train from Bern to the Airport, leaving at 8am on a Saturday? Or should I take the 7am train to be safe?

I’ve taken the train from Lucerne to Zurich airport for that same flight—Swiss 1:05 pm to Chicago.
The 8:02 train will get you to the airport at 9:14. I would be comfortable with that time. The Swiss trains are pretty reliable. If for some reason you miss that train, there is another one at 8:31, arriving at 9:49. That one should be fine too.
I tend to arrive 4 hours early, so if it was me, I would take the 8:02 which allows plenty of “just in case” time.
