I will be arriving into Amsterdam Centraal near midnight, and then going directly to my hotel in Zaandam. The next day, I will be training into town for sightseeing and returning to the hotel at night. The next day, I will be going from Zaandam to Amsterdam Centraal one last time.
I've considered the OV-chipkaart, but it seems like the card retail price (€ 7.50) is not worth it for me.
I'm wondering is my best option to buy single tickets from https://www.ns.nl/en? Do these tickets work for both Intercity and Sprinter trains?
