I've been doing my homework and decided a 2 month/10 day pass will work the best for us while in Germany/Austria/Italy on work/pleasure this Oct/Nov. Is it better to purchase the tickets directly from RS or on the eurail site? Also, how important to have reserved seats as this option only comes in first class. I have checked the DB schedule and plan as follows:
Frankfurt to Fulda
Fulda to Dresden round trip
Fulda to Vienna round trip
Fulda to Innsbrook
Innsbrook to Venice
Venice to Bologna
Bologna to Florence (bus to Sienna)
Fly out of Florence
I don't want to waste two days getting from Fulda/Innsbrook/Venice, so is there another city close to the rail line to stay one night. We can leave on Thurs 13.11.09 after 16:00 from Fulda. Any suggestions on this leg of the trip would be very helpful. Also, belated thanks to all who made our European adventure for 6 months last year fantastic!!!
