Hi all, I was looking at the different day passes for the Cinque Terre & noticed some passes include rail travel between the five cities. Is this a normal regional train that a Eurail pass would cover? Or should I expect to need to buy a CT pass with transportation if I wanted to use those trains? Thanks!
Any Italian railpass, or a Eurail pass that included Italy, would include travel between towns in the Cinque Terre, but it would probably be a very uneconomical use of a railpass. I don't think that local tickets with that area would come close to the cost of a day of a railpass.
Thanks for the info, Lee! I think I'm going to end up one of the Global passes that lasts 21 days straight, so I won't be using up a "pass day" per se.
