Wizz Air to start intra-Norway routes

Wizz Air is the one European low-cost carrier that has grown its footprint during COVID-19 times while the others have retrenched. Today, Wizz Air announced that it is going to open a (small) base at Oslo's airport next month and fly three intra-Norway routes, with plans for additional routes as it learns the market. I suspect there was a lot of swearing and drinking in the Norwegian Air Shuttle C-suite today.

Also, Erik Braathen, former CEO of Braathens (that was sold to SAS about 20 years ago) mentioned that he plans to start a new airline. Combined, this is not good news for Norwegian.
